@communicativePond1728 Happy birthday to you!!! I hope you have a wonderful year ahead. I read that you enjoy comedy -- some movies I really enjoyed recently are:

Joy Ride, Turning Red, Everything Everywhere All at Once

I ended up renting Nausicaa, which was a sad and tragic anime...do not recommend if your genre is comedy and you're celebrating but it was a good movie though, even great actually.

Also went hard on business owners - Denny's for free breakfast, Starbucks for a birthday venti flat white toffee nut with cold cream and topping that almost gave me diabetes good lord, Cobs Bread bakery for a cinnamon bun (I was supposed to have some kind of loyalty card but the lady there was awesome and hooked me up), also immediate tooth decay, then Blenz for tea, and pasta factory for (Shock!) 🍝 🍝 🍝.

Was going to hit a pub for the free slice of cake and maybe an awkward rendition of happy bday but my sugar intake was definitely already  redlining.

Also splurged and got myself some sunglasses and a book!

Highlights were:

• compliment from random person on the vintage pink and orange shirt I wore to spag dinner (shoutout to the scorp on cups here to gave me the idea to wear it)
• all the service people - everyone across the board was wholesome, wishing me happy birthday or just were chill and friendly in general
• this might sound weird but the homeless person I saw by the grocery store. They helped me realize how blessed I am and calmed me down during an anxiety attack

What I'd do different next time:

• Maybe give back somehow - donate free cake, meal or drinks to someone in a much worse position than me, pick up trash around my neighborhood or adopt a shelter pet

Of course, huge shoutout to cups for being an ongoing support to me since joining about a week ago, helping me stay connected to what matters and moving forward and working on myself during these rough times... appreciate all you listening to me and respecting and understanding me, and treating me with love and dignity... I'm learning so much and I appreciate that
