I’d love to have people to watch it alongside and discuss each episode with. I want to hear everyone’s theories, predictions, and reactions as we go (without anyone spoiling what’s coming next!). If you’ve never seen it before, this is your sign to start. If you have, you’re welcome too, as long as you’re committed to letting me experience the chaos for the first time. ...See more Getting netflix recently has done me good. I started by watching a bunch of indian films i had seen perhaps 20 years back. And i genuinely didnt anticipate the impact they would have on me. It wasnt just nostalgia of my innocent youth and the feelings of love i had back then but a reconnection to myself. A lot of movies made me cry and Ive been so numb since several years to have shed a tear. I just feel like something amazing has transpired. I feel more like myself. Romantic love has been my core ever since I was a child. Along with other things in the mix , of course. But perhaps the adult depressive phase disconnected me from it. Well - today I made a switch to Hollywood and again beginning from seeing what I have formerly seen but forgotten So I saw "The Notebook" today. And it wasnt like a modern day chic flic. It had a pure vibe. The fire of love, the hurdles, the reunion - it all just felt so real. I guess they did a good job with the act. And Im really moved. I feel like this is the kind of good place of love I belong in. The old age togetherness inspite of the memory loss is also cute. Love should really be lifelong and the wedding vows of being together in sickness or health could have a true meaning after all. I have not been lucky enough yet to attract the desirable kind of love for myself so far but Im a thinker and I wonder if I do get it and we make it lifelong as well - would I want to depart from the world together? Im not entirely sure. But i do wonder about how id want to go away ideally and i feel like it would be good if it had some connection to romantic love as well. Theres an Indian film "Ram Leela" an inspiration from the tale of Romeo and Juliet and there too the lovers quit life together , although thats another heightened form of drama, but they leave a message of love for the community. I do wish to see love being able to revolutionise the world. I think the power of two is mightier than one. When 2 hearts are in love and embark together on a mission, i think that mission gets empowered manifolds through divine blessing... and that kind of mission carries an influential impact on those who are watching... youre leaving a legacy always... Id really like something like this for myself even if it carries a sense of unattainable fantasy and grandeur .... I do think anything is also possible. There is greatness in common lives and I do think beautiful tales of love still exist in the world we live in. Isnt mushiness just very human or is it just me? Feel free to share about your wishes with respect to what I mention. What kind of romantic love do you envisage? Would you like to leave the world holding your lovers hand or something different? If youve seen the film Id love to hear your feelings about it. ...See more I watched this movie today and I highly recommend you add it to your watchlist Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson are great in this movie. It's based on true events. While it has happy moments I was bawling my eyes out at the end. It was a cathartic cry too so double win!! 💜🫶🤗
