Tips for self care
I notice that not alot of people practice self care tactics which are SO important.
How do you practice self love and self care?
Do you have tips for people who don't?

How do you practice self love and self care?
Now that I think about it, I may have been assuming that coping skills count as self care, so I guess I don't? So my tip would be, make sure you're actually doing what you think you're doing

Hi. I made a list in my laptop. What I Did. I started each day with Make my bed and listed anything I did. Seemed to help although it did get boring and I didn't alway follow through. I am trying to exercise every day but I let the anxiety that I will not follow through enough seems to be a barrier.
Self-care is such an important thing but is usually the first thing to go out the door in times of stress. It's different for everyone but for myself, I get outside in nature when ever I can, I practice yoga and meditation, I listen to music, I lean on friends and family, and I try to be gentle with myself when things don't exactly go as planned!
Practicing self love/self care is very important to me. I try to make sure people close to me are always treating themselves well. Some ways you can do that are
- Taking 30 minutes to yourself to do something you enjoy/that helps you relax
- Playing some music you really like
- Taking a relaxing bath
- Reading a book you've been wanting to read
- Meditate for a bit
- Tell yourself (at least) one good thing about yourself every day
- Take time to write a journal entry about how proud of yourself you are; and about how far you've come.
My list could go on and on as I love helping people with self care, but what I'll say to y'all is, treat yourself well. Y'all deserve it. You guys really have come so far and work so hard every day, you deserve a break. You deserve to feel good about yourself and to love yourself. All of y'all matter and are extremely amazing and important. Please treat yourselves well.
Good luck on your self love journey guys!!<3

For me level 1 self care is make sure I am:
- eating healthy food
- sleeping
- drinking water
- exercising
- talking to (kind) people
- caring for hygiene
in the proper quantities and on a regular schedule. It is really simple but easy to let some of it fall off when I'm at my lowest and will definitely contribute to feeling worse.
