Welcoming Committee - Sample welcome message [CLOSED]

Hey guys here is my welcome message to all the new listeners: "Hello dear, Im Roshney and an active listener on 7 cups of tea. Welcome to 7 cups buddy, so good to have you here. Well if there is any help I can offer u plz do PM me okay. I shall be very keen and happy to help you out. I wish you all the best. I hope u do some great work here.. :)"

Heres a sample of what I wouldnormally say
"Hi, I'm Jaelin -Afellow Listener and I just wanted to welcome you to the 7Cups family and say its great to have you here and if you need anything please don't hesitate to ask:)"

I don't like to just say the same thing to everyone. I write what comes to my mind, according to the information i come across in their profiles. a Sample of what I'd write is:

Hi (listener's name)! A warm welcome to you from me and all these lovely people of this website. I must congratulate you for taking this wonderful initiative of signing up as a Listener. As your profile says,(something personalized to show it's not mechanical). I hope you enjoy whatever this site has to offer. If you're ever confused, please feel free to send over a message. Would love to hear from you. :)

This would be my welcome for new listeners :)

Hey *listener's name*! I'd like to welcome you to life as a Listener on 7 Cups of Tea. It's so great that you've decided to join us, and I hope that you'll enjoy it. We'd love to see you in the Listener chatroom and get to know you better, if you'd like.

If you have any questions, you're welcome to ask me, and I will do my best to answer them. This is also a great resource for answering any queries you may have as a new Listener *link to FAQ*. You can also come and ask us questions in the chatroom, too. If you have a question about a chat you're having, you can PM a mentor or a teen star, by entering the chatroom and clicking on '... This is a meaningful and rewarding role on this site and also one that comes with some perks, like the friends you can make and the members who tell you that you made their day. (by the way, forums are great and you should check them all out, join a family to make some friends, and hang out in the chat room for a lighter, funner time when the chats get rough!)

Mine are different pretty much all the time but I say something along those lines:

"Hi there username! I'm Christine and I'd like to welcome you to 7 cups! We're really happy that you joined us on the mission to help people and make the world a bit better each day. I hope you enjoy your stay here and take care! :)"

I sometimes also say things like: "I like your username" or "I like your avatar."

I vary the message from time to time but the general content is something like:

"Hey (username)! It's nice to know you've decided to join our team of listeners. It's always amazing to know there's people who invest their time in building a more compassionate and caring community! I know this site seems big but if you have any questions please don't hesitate asking me, I could answer some of your doubts or direct you to someone who can. I hope you have a great stay here at 7 Cups of Tea, welcome! :) "

Being new to the listener community can be kind of scary, so if you ever need help navigating through something, feel free to contact me. There are peer support members who will be available in the listener chatroom if you feel as though you are struggling, as well as mentors.
