Welcoming Committee - Sample welcome message [CLOSED]

I just go with hello every time for the most part. Don't try to change my opening too much I feel creativity and variation needs to be focused more on the body of the conversation thats where all the change and movement usually occurs, imo. But anyways, thanks for this post.

My sample welcoming message: Hello! I am so happy you decided to join 7 Cups as a listener. This is a great place to expand your listening skills and connect with a very supportive community. I just wanted to send a quick introductory message letting you know I am here if you have any questions. I also want to let you know about some tools that exist for you to become the best listener you can be. One that highly recommend is using the mentor support system. They are trained to help listeners and you can find them under the mentor tab. Another good tool is the forum, there are tons of threads about all types of chats. I have a few of my favorites bookmarked if you want me to send them to you. Lastly, mock chats are a great way to practice your listening. I would be more than happy to do a mock chat or you can find a mentor/peer support person in the listener chatroom. I know this is a lot to take in so please send me any questions you have. And again, welcome to 7 cups! Happy listening!
