Hey there! Thank you so much for deciding to become a listener here - you'll be able to give so many people the support they need and make their day just a little bit brighter. I hope your first few chats went well - it can be kind of daunting to make that first connection! If you've got any questions, there are loads of lovely mentors to help you out, or you could ask in one of the listener forums - there's lots of different ways to get stuck in :-) I've been a listener here since October, and I'm also more than happy to answer any questions you might have. If you have any problems with finding your way around 7Cups talk to either me or another supportive Listener.

Also, remember that you arn't ignored now your a Listener. Many Listeners help others to hide there own problems and bad thoughts. If you have anything you need help with ask someone in the chat room if you can talk to them. Don't keep it in :)

If you are having difficulty with a chat there are mentors you can reach out to, who will support you during the chat, or peer support members you can talk to afterwards. There are also group support forums where you can chat to other listeners and seek guidance.

I am glad to see that you decided to join us as a listener! I think you'll come to love it here. Becoming a listener on this site is a wonderful experience. You'll have the chance to talk to so many different people with so many different experiences, both with members/guests as well as with other listeners. The 7 Cups of Tea site allows you to communicate with people in many ways, including 1-1 chats, group chats, and forums. You can be as involved as you wish to be. Any amount of time you can dedicate to this site is appreciated!

Remember, we are all here to help each other. If you ever need support after a tough chat, reach out to someone in peer support. Things might be overwhelming at first, but you will soon find out what works best for you on here. Also, self care is very important to listeners. There are many great resources here that you should find useful as well as connecting to a mentor who can help guide you through any difficulties you may experience. It can also be really helpful to make connections with other new listeners who joined this week, a list of which you can find on the bottom left side on your dashboard screen. You can also connect to new listeners on the forum threads.
