Adhd spouse support
My spouse has ADHD and his rejection sensitivity is ruining our relationship. It feels like there is no way to get through to him on our issues so we can resolve them. It's like walking on eggshells and I'm becoming an emotional volcano ready to erupt from so much frustration. He doesn't think ADHD should be medicated because his mom told him long ago that it was bad medicine that caused more problems than they were worth. I'm curious if anyone is going through this with their spouse and how do you get around it or if someone who is ADHD and medicated can tell me if they can see a difference in themselves on it.

@imaginativePal5167 is couples therapy an option? it can help to have a third party there to calm things down and give an additional perspective
I have a little brother who has ADHD and it's a complicated case. My parents are constantly trying to make things work, but it's really hard, he Góes to neuropediatrician, psychologist, and a bunch of other doctors and honestly...without the medication it gets REALLY HARD to manage.
It's Impossible to send him to school without medication. With medication he gets closer to what a normal kid is like, can sit down for a longer period of time, can pay attention to what people are saying to a longer period of time, he gets calmer, less fidgety. Without it he is EXTREMELY agitated, he can't stop moving, talking, he has to be doing something with his hands at all times, throwing things around, playing with things, it's a lot you know? I help him with school projects and the difference of him with x without medicine is clear as water. Not only for school, but life in general...
I know he is a kid, but I wanted to share my experience. Medication is necessary in his case. One of his doctors has ADHD too, he takes the same medication and he told my mom that he can't get any work done without it...pretty much like my brother.
