Am I not heard because I feel Unworthy?

Hi

A lot of times I feel unheard by those around me, especially my loved ones. This can lead me to feel frustrated, sad and upset at times.

I realize part of it might be me not speaking up—making a silent request to be heard no one hears.

I tend to make room for others to be heard, feeling as though I’m being considerate. A listener here pointed out it might also be that I don’t feel worthy of being heard in some way which I hadn’t thought of. So what kind of self-work can one do to feel worthy and that what I want to share matters?

First up it seems like you are a considerate and kind individual, But it all seems that you seem to people please by how your wording it. There may be a feeling of unworthiness, but also you should also understand that that in itself can also just be associated with not speaking up. If you don't speak up, no one will think there's a problem, and the more that mindset is in the place, the more people will care less for you standing up. You need to have a firm ground without being disrespectful or rude. I'm sorry about that with your loved ones, I understand where that comes from. For self work, all I could say is just work on your confidence, and don't be afraid to stick up for yourself. I hope this can help 🤗😊😊

@MazoweLake2031 Mindfulness practice and meta meditation practice might help you. Mindfulness meditation can get you comfortable with yourself and your emotions. Meta can open us up to self compassion and compassion for others.
