"BE A PUSHER "
Not in a sense of Degrading or hurting Someone,
but...
Be a pusher in a sense, where and whenever u find anyone stuck in their lives, they forget to feel alive, they forget to feel happy , they forget to cope up with things, they forget how to walk again? , they forget How to be confident?
Be a pusher, push 🫸🏻 them a little bit with your Empathy, With Your Kindness, With your Honesty, With your Support...
So they may live a life again with the Spark They lost in life,
A little motivation can Be a Great Success Story to Someone. 🫂💖

Great message here. I resonate with the idea of being a “pusher,” and I think it comes from such a caring place.
At the same time, I feel there’s a very fine line between gently encouraging someone from a space of empathy, and pushing them from a space where we might not fully see how fragile they are in that moment. Sometimes what looks like motivation can unintentionally turn into harmful positivity not because the intention is wrong, but because the timing is.
It’s not always empathetic to ask someone to get up and go running when they’re barely holding themselves together.
For some people, the first step isn’t doing better, like there are times when “better” isn’t even a passing thought in one’s mind, I think in those moments, it’s just surviving the day, feeling seen, and knowing they’re not a burden for struggling. When encouragement comes after that, it can feel like support instead of pressure.
I believe real empathy meets people where they are, holds space first, and gently walks alongside them until they feel ready to move forward. 💛

It's a great miserable morning but your post has cheered me.
'knowing they're not a burden for struggling' particularly resonates with me, I am starting to take small steps after nearly 10 years of choosing isolation for exactly that reason. I couldn't carry on that way.
I also agree with your point about timing, listening to a person and reflecting is much more effective than just positivity which can come across as simply platitudes.

A potential friendship that didn't work out a couple of years ago but is starting to resolve. The young lady involved suffers with schizophrenia and became overwhelmed by my empathetic nature, pleased to say she has just had coffee with me and seemed more at ease .
@RunningMachine were u listener here also?
@CometoSuccess
Hopefully I've learnt from 2 years ago, trying to be there for her and just let her dictate the pace.
