If you always give more than you get, prioritize reciprocity. Give others the same amount you get from them. Some people will get mad at you and gradually distance themselves from you. Healthy relationships thrive on mutual effort. The right people will stay and meet you halfway.

There are some wise words for us here. Like "even if they are not perfect" and people will "meet you halfway". Those are very well said. The word perfection can show a different perspective from different person. I always believe that we are all allowed to 'not to be perfect all the time'.

@Trever11 Relationships aren’t about keeping score perfectly but they do need some give and take, otherwise, it’s just one person running the show and that gets exhausting fast. Besides, it’s all about effort, realness and showing up for each other.
