Disillusionment

Heya, I wasn’t really sure if I should even write anything. Mental health can be quite costly, I guess.

The problem I seem to have is that a lot of things have accumulated over time, and I have been living in the void, so to speak.

It’s been a long and arduous journey trying to acquire healthy behaviors to move away from it, but I almost find the idea of this pursuit comical, due to the absurdity of the nature of life when it comes down to it.

So here I am, haha, writing this, hoping to perhaps find an alternative perspective. I think I have accepted where I have been — I won’t be able to un-experience it.

But maybe, just maybe, this will help.
Hi there 😊

Hi there 🌙💫

Thank you so much for sharing this — even deciding to write something here is a quiet act of courage 🌷. What you’re expressing resonates deeply; it’s not unusual for things to pile up over time until life starts to feel like a “void.” It’s a heavy place to be, and acknowledging it like you have is a huge step forward. 🌿

I hear you on the “absurdity” of it all. Sometimes when you’re trying to build healthier habits or move forward, it can almost feel surreal or ironic — like you’re watching yourself from the outside. That doesn’t make your effort any less meaningful, though. The fact that you’re reaching for healthy behaviors, even when it feels absurd, is proof of your resilience 💙.

You’re right — you can’t un-experience your past. But what you can do (and are already doing) is change the relationship you have with those experiences, one small moment at a time. 🌸 Sometimes a shift in perspective doesn’t mean erasing what’s been lived; it means allowing yourself to see that you’re more than what you’ve been through.

I’m so glad you’re here. This community is full of people who understand that long, hard journey, and you don’t have to navigate it alone 🤍. Sending you warmth and gentle support as you keep moving forward, even if the steps feel small or strange right now 🌺✨.
