Food for thought
Hey everyone
I saw a *** today during my morning doomscroll. It was about if you could walk through a door and redo everything without trauma or pain would you? It made me think for a second. How life could be different without the trauma or pain we all go through. We fight and struggle sometimes everyday but that makes us stronger and ready for anything life can throw at us.
I got a favorite quote from an anime because I am an anime nerd.
There's no such thing as a painless lesson, they just don't exist. Sacrifices are necessary. You can't gain anything without losing something first. Although...if you can endure that pain and walk from it, you'll find that you now have a heart strong enough to overcome any obstacle. Yeah... a heart made of Fullmetal.(full metal alchemist brotherhood)
So to answer the question I would not walk through the door.
Would you walk through the door?
@Schlag
That's an interesting question.
Yes, we learn valuable lessons from.alot of things in life.
But if I'm honest, instinctively, there are alot of doors i wouldn't walk through 💚

Absolutely walking thru that door at double speed. I avoid suffering and pain as much as humanly possible and as a general rule I find life cruel, hard, painful, etc enough as it is, so I don't look for it, no matter what the lesson might be. But that's just me.
Likely I'd take the door out and hit the corresponding person over the head with it.
Too bad trauma doesn't materialize always. Or maybe it good ;)
@Schlag
well, full metal alchemy is a good movie.
But movie are not reality, I mean anime isn't real, it is for the sake of entertainment.
To feed our part of the brain of fantasy, to get distracted and rest from a while from the reality, that is for the entertainment, a good distraction we could enjoy.
Well, for me, I will understand and accept that in life there are things that can't be change, it is what it is, what's done is done, it is the past and I ain't living in the past, It is the moment, the present that I'm living, so the past will not determine who am I fully but a lesson to learn and to reflect for me to get better version of myself. Just Regreting doesn't fix anything, only regret only make things worse, life move on and continue without discrimination where you are healthy or not, in pain or not, in regret or not, it just move on, time flows and move on, it is just life, it is what it is so, rather than to see it as a total loss, I tried to see it as price to learn in life lesson, things the books in school doesn't teach you. Real life exp and from it, I think it was a good investment for me to build upon myself to be better. Not too focus on the negativity in the past, although, I'm not perfect in mastering it, yet, I already did some progress within it so I know it was working towards a good trejectory.
But a lot of adjustment need to be done, cause the more I learn, the more I encouter things to be solve which is why I keep upgrading myself and my system in personal development.
You know there are so many distraction, so many noise, so many reason for you to be negative but there are also at-least one reason for you to look it in a good way. and in life, there will be lost, if not now, later, I learn it the hard way, the winter never miss. so, now, I expect there will be winter, there will be loss but again, it is the price to pay to gain a lesson and make me better, instead of blaming other or other things, I often do self reflection and trying my best not make an excuses for mistake I made and taking responsibility of the lesson by paying what is lost or fail as a lesson for future investment on my personal development. So, even loss is consider as an investment for me. This is why right now, I'm able to be more calm, cause I know in each step I take, it is progress that I make.
@Schlag
Yes, I would walk through that door. As long as I learned the lessons. Unfortunately in this life you don't learn from pleasure, you learn from pain. So instead of thinking of it as pain I think of it as lessons learned.
@Schlag
