Forgetting bad memories

Hey, i've had a bad memory for a long while now that i want to forget and i want to ask if there's any way to forget bad memories. Like things i can do to remove the bad memory.

I do not think there is a way to forget a bad memory .... you might be able to try to view it differently.
Of course it depends on the memory i suppose.
many bad things in my life .......i can look back with hindsight and see/ understand some little item i did not know at the time and that allows me to get clarity and a different perspective. on the memory ..
