Hello, I'm going through a breakup and I need pointers on things that have helped others in the past. It was almost five years and I was at fault. We've been broken up for three months

@conscientiousFarm237 Awww, I am so sorry you and your partner broke up. I know you said it was your "fault". I just wanted to come on here and let you know that I commend you for accepting ownership that you made mistakes in your relationships. Often times, people can't admit that and they want to put blame on the other person. I commend you though for this. Good for you! I also wanted to remind you that even though you were at "fault", please please forgive yourself and learn from whatever you did. It's totally understandable that you feel the way you do and want to seek ways to help move on and get through the breakup. It will take time. Y'all have been together for years and it's been over 3 months. The breakup is in a way a loss and it's ok to grieve it. Take the time to do so and then heal, learn, and move forward with life. I hope that you will be ok. Please hang strong, give it time, and you will get through this within time. Take care of yourself.
