Hi everyone! ♡

I thought I would take a little moment to properly introduce myself and share a bit about who I am as a listener here on 7 Cups. I’ve been a part of this community for quite some time now, and being a listener has become something incredibly meaningful to me. There is something so special about being able to sit with someone during a difficult moment and remind them that they don’t have to carry everything completely alone.

I’m someone who genuinely loves listening. Not because I think I have all the answers I definitely don’t! but because I believe sometimes what we need most is simply a person who will stay, listen, and try to understand. 🌸

🦋 My listening style

My approach to listening is very much centered around validation, empathy, patience, and understanding.

I’m not here to tell you what you should do or immediately try to fix everything. Instead, I like to give you space to talk about what is actually going on inside your head and heart.

Sometimes that means asking gentle, open-ended questions. Sometimes it means reflecting something back to you. Sometimes it means sitting with you in the messy feelings without trying to make them disappear.

And sometimes… you just need to say, “Today was awful,” and have someone respond with, “Yeah, that sounds really hard.” And that's okay too. 🤍

You don't have to make your feelings sound reasonable before you share them with me. You don't have to apologize for taking up space. You don't have to worry about being “too much.”

You are allowed to show up exactly as you are.

🌼 A little about my journey here

Over time, I’ve had the opportunity to take on quite a few different roles within the 7 Cups community. I’ve been a Verified Listener, Peer Supporter, Adult Teen Listener (ATL), Chat Supporter, Listener Chatroom Supporter, Chatroom Mentor, Community Leader, Listener Verifier, Teen Chatroom Mentor, Community Moderator, Smile Spreader, and part of the Listener Coaching Team.

I’ve also had the opportunity to mentor and support other listeners, including helping newer listeners find their footing and feel more confident in their own listening journeys.

Every role has taught me something different, but one thing has stayed the same through all of them:

I love watching someone come into a chat feeling completely overwhelmed and slowly feel a little lighter after being heard. I love seeing new listeners discover that they can make a difference. I love the little moments of connection that happen here — the ones that might seem small from the outside but can mean so much to the person experiencing them.

💌 A little milestone I’m proud of

Over my time here, I’ve been incredibly lucky to receive 180+ reviews and a 5-star rating. ⭐️

Those numbers honestly mean a lot to me, but not because they feel like an achievement to collect. Each review represents a person who trusted me enough to share a small piece of their world with me.

And that is something I never want to take for granted.

Behind every number is a real person. A real conversation. A real moment where someone decided to reach out instead of keeping everything bottled up.

That means so much more to me than any number ever could. 🌷

You can expect me to meet you where you are.

You can ramble.
You can cry.
You can be angry.
You can be confused.
You can say the same thing ten different ways because you don't know how else to explain it.

You can tell me about the good things too! ♡

You don't have to come into a chat with a huge crisis. Maybe you're having a bad day. Maybe you need to vent about something tiny that has been bothering you all day. Maybe you just feel lonely and want some company.

You are still welcome here.

I want my chats to feel like a little safe corner where you can take a breath and let your guard down for a while. 🌙

I can't promise that I'll always know exactly what to say, but I can promise that I'll listen with care, treat your feelings seriously, and do my best to make sure you feel heard and respected.
