Hello everyone!
Hello! I'm Birdie! I joined yesterday and I already love it here. It's such a lovely community and I'm excited to spend more time here and take advantage of all this community has to offer.
A little about me is in 31, I work as a quality assurance technician at a juice manufacturing facility. I work around 50 hours a week, which lately has been taking a serious toll on me, but I'm managing as best I can.
My favorite thing to do is color and play video games. I like cozy games, like Stardew Valley, Roots of Pacha, and lately Infinity Nikki. That vibe is my absolute favorite.
My mom passed away in March of '24. I haven't recovered from it yet. It was very traumatic, a long with some other stuff that happened in that immediate time frame. It was awful. I'm starting to get my feet under me, but it's a struggle.

You seem like a wonderful, hardworking, kind, and fun person. I know you mentioned that your mother passed away last year. I am so sorry for your loss. I'm not all sure exactly what it was the brought you to 7 Cups, but there's so much that is offered here. I hope you take the time to explore the communities and navigate the website and see for yourself. :) I also wanted to say that I am happy that you are feeling like you are starting to get your feet under you. Thank you for such a warm welcome, Desiree! I appreciate the condolences. She was a lovely woman who touched so many lives and and was just a joy to be around. I miss her deeply. That's part of why I'm here. The other reason is I was in a long term polyam relationship with my wife and our 8 year partner and the day after my mom died, he through us out without any explation other than, "I can't do this with you anymore".
So we had to move states, I had to leave my job and my pets behind, and the majority of my things, since our friend got us in a Rav 4 and I couldn't fit my life in it
It's just been a constant struggle and I just can't catch a break. I'm hoping 2025 treats me, and all of us, better.
I'm loving what I'm seeing so far! Strongly debating a premium membership, but I want to make sure I'm actually utilizing the app before I invest a decent amount in it.

Hello, Birdie, I'm Tramell nice to meet you. I'm 33 I work with mental health people, any suggestions on coloring books, that may seem like a good hobby for me, as I don't have any at the moment. Thank you Tramell! I love coloring. I usually buy the more involved looking ones at Books a Million/Barnes and Noble/Joanne. Mandelas and flower ones are my favorite. And I just color whatever strikes my fancy. Doesn't have to look realistic or anything.
And thank you for saying that. A lot of days I think she'd be proud, but some days, when I'm down, I'm not so sure. Today is a down day, so I can't express how appreciative I feel about that.
