Hi!
Hi, I'm 30 years old. I'm an introvert. I grew up in a strict family with rigid boundaries. I didn't hear or see myself. I only saw others, always comparing myself to others and suffering greatly. Now I've started listening to myself, moved to a big city, live on my own, study, and work. I'm trying to figure out who I am and what I want. It's as if I was just born. It's hard to be empty at 30. When you don't even know how to communicate with people. I avoid society, communication, I'm afraid of people. I can communicate, but I'm afraid of getting close to people. I'm very insecure. They say you need to communicate, make friends, and not be alone, but I'm afraid of people because I've lost trust in them. It seems to me that there are no people like me on earth. Or maybe I'm afraid of meeting someone like me?

Hi, it sounds like you had some pretty rocky and controlled experiences growing up, and that this has led to you not having any trust in humanity. Well, finding people you can trust can take a lot of exploration and time, and is not an easy process necessarily, because people are whole bundles of good and bad and it’s not simple to decide at times what is non-negotiable for you in terms of how a relationship or even a friendship for that matter, would make you feel.
7 cups has a bunch of good people around, though heaven knows, we’re all human too, so there is good and bad in each of us, because we’ve all lived. Maybe it can be a safe space because of it being anonymous, for you to “try out” some friendly behaviors, and see how it feels.
I had almost same childhood as yours so I totally understand you. I'm also struggling just like you it feels like everyone else know what they want or who they are while we have figure it out. All I can say you are not alone.
Good to see that bro I'm exactly going through the same situation at 17 but I'm glad 😊 someone is there like me.
@neonWatermelon7947 Exactly how J feel *in skme watz my OCD dictates I can't redo typis. Unbelievabme abt toda6, so, soery for that. I'm 28, autistic and lonely even with friebds. Of which I don't have many. Maybe abt 2.

Guys, I used to be afraid of being like someone else. I thought that if I looked like someone else, then I was them, and I was losing myself, that I wasn't special, not unique, just a gray mass. But it turns out it's so cool to meet someone who's like you and has a similar situation. That means I'm human too! And you gave me a great support! I hope I will find my soul mate and friend. BTW, I had conversation with one person here, in 7 cups, yesterday. He opened my eyes more and supported me. I was really happy to meet him here.
Excuse me for the late response. I'm new here and just figuring out how everything works.

Great intro! Nice to meet you! I’m a proud introvert too, with a strict family background whose rigidity drove me nearly mad!
I didn’t start getting to know myself until my mid 20s … then after falling in love, I crawled back into my shell for another 10+ years.
With the “right” attitude, however, I’ve learned that life presents itself with plenty of twists, turns, and astounding adventures—rather than obstacles—and this place here, 7cups, is perfect for starting your journey.
Welcome!!
Feel free to ask me anything!
Thank you, FaithfulScout! It's hard to admit that I only start living at 30, not earlier. But it's better now than later. And I am glad I have found 7 cups. Thank you for your support and encouragement. I am glad you enjoy your life now. And that you see it like an adventure, not like an obstacle. It's true! I want to watch at my life the same way - it is a journey. And it's just begun! Like LOTR or some other adventures.
It's natural...just go with the flow and do as your heart says
