I'm new here, thinking maybe talking to someone will help. My mental health has been declining FAST! Currently on meds for depression and anxiety but I don't think they're helping enough. I don't know what else to do....

@shyCow1118    I recently had to approach my parents and request medication for depression and anxiety. the prescription has to be filled and I'll start hopefully on the weekend, but my mom is biopolar so I know a lot about medication.

so how long have you been taking them? if it hasn't been at least 2 weeks then give it time. give it more time. see if you can up your dosage. if you've been on it for quite a while, upped your doses, and everything then ask your doctor about changing your medication. medication is very hit or miss. different medications will react differently to different people and you just gotta try different meds till you find one that works. when the affect of those meds wears off talk to your doctor and change the meds yk?

you need to know that everyone gets down. if you are willing I can listen and offer some advice. I've handed out a lot of advice that people say they really needed to hear, and even one woman who is going through a divorce actually screenshotted what I said and has been repeatedly reading it. I'd love to hopefully offer something to you :)

just remember your strong, and you can do this.
