Hello, I’m new here and need a little help figuring something out. So my situation involves bottling up rather intensely for some time and my issue is that I don’t know how to let any of it out without getting into extensive details. I tried sending a message to a listener on here, they didn’t respond so I’m wondering if I’m just too verbose for this app or something

It's important to browse through a list of listeners, read their bios, see what topics they discuss, it can take time to find a listener you connect with. Each listener has different strengths. sometimes listeners don’t respond if they have to stay offline and off their accounts for a bit, like if they have stuff going on in real life
u can usually get a response if you send a general request, which goes out to all the listeners

I'm a member on this account. And I've faced similar issue. I've been using 7cups for a while now.. and I just wanted to let you know that there is nothing wrong with you.
Nowadays, quite bunch of listeners, don't respond at the proper time.. or just are very careless. I don't want to be pessimistic, but it is the reality.
Don't worry, forum is a great place to find better listeners too. You can use this place.
Meanwhile, I can help you in the process of choosing a better listener comparitively. Although, do keep in mind that, despite using this way.. sometimes members still don't get responses.
Process-
Look at the Listener. Check for how long they have been a Listener. If they are new (like the same month), then you can prefer to slip them.
Check their bio. Check their reviews too. Don't always fall for the 5 stars and maybe even the reviews.
Lastly, testing people out. Yes .. You can't find a proper listener sometimes.. without testing them out.
