I worked incredibly hard throughout my student years to build my skills and gain real-world experience. However, coming from a small town, there are very few companies here, and most opportunities require relocation instead of offering remote work.

Unfortunately, relocating isn't an option for me because I'm the primary caregiver for a family member, and they cannot move with me. I also can't leave them alone, as I'm the sole provider for my family.

Recently, I received a great job offer with an excellent salary, but I had to turn it down simply because it required relocation. It was one of the hardest decisions I've had to make.

Right now, I honestly feel hopeless. I don't know how I'm supposed to build my career when the opportunities I deserve are out of reach due to circumstances beyond my control.

@StressedSoul4

I know exactly how you feel 💛

I too am primary carer for my loved ones.

And Ive has to sacrifice so much.

And so many people say to me, do you not work?

What do you do all day?

It's frustrating because my days are busy and often endless.

I didn't make this decision because I'm not capable.

I made it out of love.

I'm truly sorry this hurt , and I want you to know, you are a very caring person and your family are blessed to have you 💛

Your situation is emotionally draining but your love and care for your people is enviable.

How are do you think you can cope with been emotional in balance within you and still give desired care and love to the people surrounding you without being broken at the end of the day.
