Take a seat 😊
If you could sit down with one person and say sorry? Would you take that opportunity?
Well, today I would say sorry to my husband. I had a *** day, then when I can home he yelled at me for something and I kinda lost it.
Otherwise, I would say sorry to myself for letting my brain treat me so badly.
We've already traded multiple apologies to eachother, and no matter how many times we apologies, say sorry, be sorry, is sorry...it always comes back with another sorry. No matter how many times we promised to change, be better and not repeat our silly history. We always end up with a sorry. We promised to change, but why does it feel like I'm the only one changing? Not for myself but for their comfort as they enjoy the momentarily peace. No matter how much I hate this cyle with them, how delusional I may be....a sorry is all it needed for me to believe in their "apologies"...and I probably still would not gonna lie 😆
@Amanda84 yes, i would sit down with the girl i treated badly in grade 3. the girl i made feel left out, feel like she was weird. i would apologize to her and tell her she is not the weird one, i am. i would tell her i am so sorry. for reference, it has been over 10 years and we are still friends and i have apologized about this. but i want to apologize to that little 8 year old girl. its something i have felt guilt over often. i was faced with the same 'being left out' feeling for years after that, still do. i think its because of what i did to her. i think about it alot. she just wanted a friend and we made her feel weird for that. its disgusting what i did.
@Amanda84
Who would you choose to sit with today and say sorry to?
How would it help?
How do you think you'd feel?
Is it holding you back currently?
@Amanda84 I have said sorry to them 🤍
@fossilfellow
That must be so peaceful and reassuring 💛
@Amanda84 ❤️❤️
