The pain of loving someone

What’s the point of love without respect, honesty and loyalty? How do you say “I love you” to someone and hurt them when you had the chance. What do you mean when you say you don’t know why you did what you did? Why weren’t you thinking of me when you found yourself in those situations? Was it wrong for me to love you? To show you I care? To be there when you needed it? I’m hurting and I don’t know what to do with this pain? I want to scream and shout and curse you but deep down I don’t want to hurt you despite all you’ve done to me.

I don’t know how to move past this? I want to heal. I want us to be better but you are soo far away I don’t know if I can still trust you anymore. Your actions say you different but in my head you are tainted in black.

You killed the smile I had on my face anytime I see you. I can’t think of you without thinking of the pain you caused me.

They say I must forgive you to be able to let go. In my heart I did but in my head I don’t know if I would be able to. You’ve destroyed us, our future, our memories.

You left me with wounds I can’t heal no matter how much I care for them.

You took a part of me with you I can’t get back. You broke me and despite all of this I still Iove you and still want you.

Yours truly,

The betrayed

@ilovequiet01

🥺

I'm sorry that you are struggling so much.

Thank you for your honesty.

Rawness.

Vulnerability.

It's important we always embrace love, and love hard, even when it doesn't work out, we always learn something from it, it takes space, time and grace to allow ourselves to heal!

I genuinely hope you get there!

I can feel your pain through your words, and betrayal truly leaves a deep wound. Don’t rush your healing give yourself the same love and compassion you gave to them 💚

After all that I don’t even think that’s it’s even called pain once that happens it’s a feeling that I don’t think even exists.

“Trust is not given, it is revealed not in what someone says once, but in the pattern of what they choose again and again when no one is watching.”

Everyone speaks their own truth, but only one reality actually happened. we destroy each other over half-truths, never touching the full truth.

If her story ≠ mine, are we both wrong? Or are we both only half-right, while the absolute truth sits silently behind?

Your truth = how you saw, felt, and interpreted events. Her truth = how she experienced and narrates the same events. Both can coexist because truth is filtered through perception, memory, emotions, and bias. But at the same time, an absolute truth exists underneath (what actually happened).

we rarely see the absolute truth, only our broken perceptions. We only access subjective truth (memories, feelings, retellings). But we crave absolute truth (justice, clarity, closure). This gap = why relationships break, why people argue, why history has two sides.

he knew perspective shapes “truth.”

“If they keep forgetting to reply, they’re not forgetful. You’re just not important enough. Stop giving people the benefit of the doubt when they’ve shown you their pattern again and again. If someone replies instantly to their boss but takes three days to reply to you, that’s not business that’s priority management. You’re not being ghosted. You’re being ranked.”

“Your self-respect is directly tied to the standards you set. If someone treats you like an option and you still keep chasing them, you’re not respecting yourself. People don’t devalue you you devalue yourself by staying where you’re not valued.”

A cheater or manipulator exposes their character. But if you keep tolerating it, you’re exposing your lack of self-respect.

I regret all that begging when I needed love. I hate myself for that. “What slips away was never yours, what stays doesn’t need holding, and what is yet to come waits for the strength you are becoming.”

“You don’t heal to forget. You heal so you can remember without breaking.”
