Hi , i'm 22 y/o from 🇮🇳.
I dropped my education when i was 19.
Started working in a factory.
Its been almost 3 years -
Unlike people of my age
I never steeped into a college or theater
I have 0 friends to share my thoughts .
I had 0 opportunity to express my feelings for others.
Never been hugged - thats how lonely i am.
To any good soul out there " would you be willing to help me out in this situation ?"

@affectionateBeing5754 Hi. Welcome to 7 Cups! Making friends can be a slow process. We are not always taught these skills. I mean, the school system I am familiar with seems to think that just throwing a bunch of kids in a group is all that is needed. At home, if we don’t have good models in our parents for how to cultivate friendships, we are left to figure that out on our own. But the good news, making friends is a skill, just like any other skill. Learning some things about ourselves can also go a long way in making it easier to make friends. When we are in tune with our own emotions, we can be more in tune with other’s emotions. When we know how to be compassionate to ourselves we can offer that to others. When we can be curious about ourselves, we can be curious about others. That curiosity can be very attractive quality to others. So perhaps you could google for books on how to make friends. You might investigate mindfulness meditation for getting to know yourself, and meta meditation for practices in compassion. Those are things that I found useful, but there are many paths.
Hi there. I definitely understand loneliness and growing up without any affection from parents. We all need it and deserve it. You are brave to reach out for help. It is so hard to open up and risk getting your heart wounded even more. Keep being brave! The lion is king of the jungle, not because he's the strongest but because of his fierce attitude.
