Hey everyone!! Just remembered this platform existed the other day so I thought I'd log back in 😭 I know my account is six years old but I've been gone for so long that I might as well be a newbie lol
I'm genuinely so glad I came back though, this community is so much more supportive than I ever remember it being!! you all are great <3
so now I have a question. out of pure curiosity, who else here is a social work major?? I'm looking to get experience talking to people now so that I'm more prepared for future internships, anyone else doing the same? :)

Hello and Welcome back! Coming back after such a long time can definitely make you feel like a newbie so it counts in my book!
I am not a social work major but I have an associates in Human Services (which lf you don't know is a very similar field) and am currently working towards my bachelor's in Sociology with a concentration in Human Services (also minoring in Psychology as well as Race in American Society if that is helpful at all). What are you interested in doing with that degree? That is super cool!
You should look into the 7 cups internship and see if it would be right for you! Let me know if you have trouble finding info and I'll send you some. I am currently in it and it is great experience!
