Oh yesss! book are such a great escape from stress, work, school, responsibility lol.

I am reading a great psychological thriller called You Love Me by Caroline Kepnes. It is the 3rd book in a series about this guy who has lots of interesting and dramatic encounters with the women he is attracted to...

Start with the first in the series and you will be hooked :)

I agree with you! I always read a book to de-stress and take some time for myself. I love psychological thrillers, so I will definitely try to read You Love Me. Thank you for the recommendation.

I am currently reading the second part of the Century Trilogy. As the name hints, this trilogy of novels (Ken Follett) tells the history of the 20th century through the eyes of five interrelated families—American, German, Russian, English, and Welsh. This book was much better than I expected even though my expectations were already high based on reviews.

Currently reading When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi! Really good book about a neurosurgeon recapping his life while struggling with cancer. It's such an amazing book especially since I'm trying to be a physician.

@zealousGrace5023 It's definitely a profound and insightful book that wrestles with the reality of death. But it gives so much insight into what it means to live and experiencing life.

I recently finished reading The Ballerinas by Rachel Kapelke-Dale. It's about three eponymous ballerinas and how the cutthroat world of ballet has influenced their friendship and lives for better and worse. To quote the first line from the inside of the book jacket, "Ballerinas are like pointe shoes: You have to break them down before they're of any use."

@zealousGrace5023

It is indeed.

Yep, competition in the ballet world can get ugly. I would know; I used to be a ballerina. Luckily for me, the fact that I was doing it just for fun and exercise marked me as less of a threat, so I wasn't too caught-up in the drama of dance.

How was Beautiful Creatures???!! I have looked at reading that many times! Is it worth the read?

Currently, I’m reading “Under the Whispering Door” by TJ Klune. It’s great so far. I read the “Magician’s Lie” by Greer Macallister which was also enjoyable. But trigger warning on that one! It caught me by surprise!
