@zealousGrace5023. I’m also a huge fan of reading myself. I personally am drawn to a good fantasy. If I may make a suggestion, anything by Raymond E. Fiest, or Dave’s Eddings( I may have the last name wrong). They are both original pioneers for the fantasy realms. Or my personal favorite book ever, Blood and Chocolate. I know it is class as teen or young adult romance. But hey when you can feel it you feel it

Yes @zealousGrace5023 "The Alchemist". This books never fails to impress me, every time I re-read it. This one, I bet is never gonna be obsolete as long as there are readers in this world, and will be considered classic soon. There are too many things one can learn from “The Alchemist”. From following your heart to about taking the risk of following your dreams (which is actually so difficult to do and there are very few who do). The author is so correctly describes that when you decide to follow your dreams the entire universe conspires in your favor which he called as the “beginners luck” and we all have been witness to this beginners luck at one or other point in our lives. Beauty is another thing you will learn in this book i.e., noticing and appreciating the beauty of life and every tiny beautiful things existing in it. Also, he talks about a stage in our journey towards realising our dreams, where everything just goes haywire and there is everything working against us and it almost takes us to the brink of abandoning everything and just getting back to what was so familiar and comfortable.

I'm reading Even Cowgirls Get the Blues by Tom Robbins. Simply because Tom is a weirdo.

its about a girl with giant thumbs who was"born to hitch hike" and a beauty ranch of all women cowgirls.

Sounds like a good read, is this book from that movie with the same title?

I'm currently reading The Portable Nineteenth - Century African American Women Writers edited by Hollis Robbins and Henry Louis Gates Jr. It's basically all the writers who wrote articles essays and so much more that is not always so well known. They stood up and made themselves known in times of history in all areas from the White house to the Gold Rush era.

I recently read "Chances" by Jackie Collins. It's sort of like a mob love story that's definitely 18+. Wasn't my favorite but it was alright!

I usually read fiction, but right now I'm reading Atomic Habits by James Clear. I really enjoy his take on how to build realistic and sustainable habits and the psychology behind it. He uses real life examples that makes it relatable.

If you're looking for fiction, some of my recent favourites include City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert (really enjoyed her writing style), The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion (I kept thinking how much the main character reminds me of Sheldon from the show Big Bang which made it more entertaining), and I really like the author K.A. Tucker for light hearted romance type novels although she has some darker books available.
