My sometimes twisted sense of humor haha. And also my sensitive emotions due to my depression and anxiety. Sometimes my straight forward answers that may can compliment but at the same time can be offending too.

This a good question, and kind of tough, too--at least for me.
I would say that, while I don't necessarily *love* public speaking, I am good enough at it that I know it's a skill in my toolbox. And when I'm asked to do it, I don't mind.
@sereneSunset26 i guess i am the same in that regard
@zealousGrace5023
Difficult question! I know this applies to a lot of people, but no one really likes to be disagreed with when speaking. Personally I enjoy finding disagreement between discussions because it's something I want to consider and ponder more into especially since I want to learn other people's perspectives throughout my life.
@sunnyWriting4806 disagreement is necessary for progress and critical analysis of anything
i think people have a tendency to view it as a personal attack rather than just it simply being a disagreement
@zealousGrace5023
I just had to chime in as well and say that I 100% agree with this. In my experience, most people seem to have an automatic amygdala-based emotional response to disagreement or different worldviews from their own. And it's like you said, they assume they are personally under attack, and their emotional response is just not conducive to anything resembling productive discourse.
@sunnyWriting4806
I agree 1,000% with this. I feel like the only real time I learn things from people is when differences crop up. Not to say I *can't* learn things from people whom I mostly agree with, but I just feel like my perspectives are broadened when I interact with those whom I disagree with.
@sereneSunset26
Definitely! thanks for sharing that. I think there's so much things to learn from a challenging conversation in terms of what the other person thinks and reasoning why they think in such way.
The smell of skunk spray 😅
Being Alone..I cherish the time I have to myself where I don't have to "be on"
