What are your goals in life?
7cups offers a lot and shapes you to be a better person. With the support of 7cups, what would you like to achieve in life?
My goal is to carve out a perfect life for myself and be a respected person in this world!
hi guys, i used to have 2 goals:
1 - be the happiest man in the world
2 - save the world
so i started to study all stuff related to meditation and psychology and philosophy as a teen for 1 and then when i was of age, i went studying law economics and politics;
then I had an accident that spiced things up; I was left with two handicaps: one mental (bipolarity type 2), one physical (a weird mix of fibromyalgia, spinal sprain, and neuralgic pain). So I went back to school. I kind of fixed my bipolarity already and created a general framework to cure mental illnesses, which totally matches objective 2: save the world.
In the meantime, my physical health issues were still not fixed, so I kept studying and came up with 12 new objectives that form a more complete and hopefully bulletproof set. Don't be overwhelmed, it took me about 10 years to identify my goal set and if you want i might help you find yours too :)
1 - mindset: have the most conquering spirit in the universe
2 - learning set: be the most curious soul in the universe
3 - organizational set: have the clearest and cleanest organizational patterns in the world
4 - emotional set: be the happiest man in the world (still here:)
5 - visualization set: be able to visualize complex and inspiring images at all times while doing something else
6 - physical set: be the healthiest man in the world
7 - grand mission: save the world (still :)!
8 - administrative set: make administrative stuff handle itself
9 - social set: have lots of friends from many walks of life and make them real happy sharing enthusiasm and love for life
10 - fun set: have the most fun life experience a human being ever had
11 - girl set: joyaux féminin (it means find a really nice person to share my life with)
12 - addiction set: be able to drop from one second to the next, any habit, behaviour or addiction to make room for the new
In fact, since i think i worked out a system to help people out fix their minds, my current grand mission is to help people fix their own minds. So if you are in distress I probably won't help you on the short term, what you need is the stuff you get on 7 cups: good listeners and also one or more therapists. But if your state is relatively stable and you already have a therapist but want to look for complementary tools and long term recovery, you can ask me questions. My email is guilliem.fauquier@gmail.com and my site is www.howtofixyourmind.com
I have just created the site and i am looking for people like you to help me see how i can help exactly. so feel free to contact me and tell me what you think of my site :)
my goal is to get into medical school, try to maintain a healthy mental and lifestyle & continue to grow in my relationship with my significant other
I'd like to travel the world and use my skills to help others. :)
My goals are multiple...
1.So I want to visit my dream place.
2.I want to create a great impact in the field of mental health.
3. I want to inspire people so that they can do wonders too ^_^
I want to meet a wonder man, and then with him, live happily ever after (on a relistic level).
@purpleTree4652 a wonderful man, not a wonder man lol
My goal is to live a happy, healthy lifestyle and make a positive impact in others' lives.
Find a companion who won't leave me
Take an extended trip across Japan
Though the first one isn't really a GOAL per se but I would consider it the deepest, most desperate desire of my heart. Why is it that we humans always want the impossible?
@TytoRito, I don't think its impossible. I want the same thing; a mate with whom I can be in a loving relationship. I think so many people around the world want that. We just have no way to meet. I live in Los Angeles, a city with millions of people, probably a lot of them lonely, but with no way to meet. If I thought we could meet, I would say let's do it. Do you agree?
@purpleTree4652 Well I mean, would /you/ want an autistic person with Borderline Personality Disorder who has no redeeming qualities, looks like a horse's rear end, can barely physically take care of herself, and who is... well let's just say that I as a person am not suitable for work, if you catch my meaning. I'm a very shameful, disgusting creature. I would be willing to bet that there is not a single human being in the world that could look at that and be like "yes, I want that one."
@TytoRito, I would say yes. I think beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I also think there are so many people in the world who are lonely, that surely at least one would want you. At least one would look at you and find you beautiful. And your attitude of reaching out to people on the 7cups website is endearing. And your desire to want happiness is normal and natural.
I don't know, should I know?
What's the point in having a goal?
@noahmckenzie23
To be happy with myself and at peace with myself and others.

that answer if answered honestly and be aside will get alot of differnt answers. it depends on the person, their situation, & prospective. You can change situation & prospective over time or if the want and will is there, but it all depends on the person.
I know I didnt even give any answer I'm sorry but could I ask why you're asking? Do you have a goal and have feel of the purpose maybe just wanting to know others views or do you ask more from a place wanting to know so you find it and help ground yourself? also hope you're weekend is treating you decent.
