I just want to finally feel safe

The two things I want in life are a family and a bakery. I want to make baked goods with unconventional flavors. I really like floral aromas, like lavender, rose, violet, lilac, jasmine, etc, but there's really not much of a market for them in the states where people don't want anything unless it's double chocolate, salted caramel, or pumpkin spice. But I'm hoping to change that. I want to change the way people think about flavor and what can and can't be used to flavor a cake. I'm also fan of savory flavors like rosemary and thyme in cakes! So my future is kind of like Step 1) start a bakery and make everyone love my amazing cakes, and Step 2) adopt some kiddos and help them have a better life, be the kind of loving & supportive parent I wish I'd had growing up. That's all I want in life, and those two things are what keep me motivated when I feel hopeless. Like when I'm having a bad day and work and I wonder if it's worth it, I think, I am making money for my bakery right now, my present suffering is funding my future goals. And when I feel like I'll never be able to afford children, I remind myself, there will always be children who need adopting, even when I'm 60. Sometimes I think I want these things right now, but I forget I have my whole life to get there. I'm working hard to stay commited to these long-term goals. I need to fall in love with the long road.

My goal in life is to raise my daughter to be happy and to pray she never feels the way i do inside. I hope she grows up and becomes whatever her dreams are to be. I just want happiness for her and peace for our life.
