It does not have to something huge. It can be anything, as long as it made you happy.
The best thing that happened to me recently:
I went out for a walk this morning and saw the sunrise. It was a great way to start the day!
The best thing that has happened to me recently was moving houses, as I got to donate loads of things and explore a new neighbourhood!

Hearing that people talking to me or anyone of us actually helps them and makes them feel better .
@purvanv, the best thing that happened to me lately was being able to meet with old friend I haven't seen for almost 6 years now, and catch up with them as if we'd just met. True friendship :)
