Don't understand the Calender
The calender has these meetings but then it will say something about where to meet. For instance, " Please join BeyondTheInvisible for disability support sessions in disability room." How exactly do I do that? The website does not explain how to do this. Also, there are depression meetings on the calender for teens but not adults. Do they expect us all to be cured by a miracle by the time a person has reached aduldhood?
@enid013 Hi enid, there are discussions for both adults and teens on the appropriate sides. The calendar was recently wiped, so many discussions that are scheduled are no longer listed. To join a discussion, you just need to enter the appropriate room at the listed time (Eastern Time). Some rooms may be in pop up rooms (the chatroom will only show up for discussions/events).
If you are interested in participating in particular discussions for a certain topic/ subcommunity, you can always reach out to the support team leader, community mentor, or community mentor leader of the appopriate category/subcommunity. Hope this clears things up!
@lovelyWhisper66 The times in the calendar are not all in Eastern Time, it's confusing :(
I don't mind converting times but it is confusing to have to pay attention to multiple time zones in one calendar.
@lovelyWhisper66
How do I know who the leader of a group is if the group is not listed on the calender? Or doesn't appear until last minute?
@enid013 If you are on browser, and go to the main subcommunitys forum home page, you can find the full list of leaders under the leaders tab.
@enid013 On the website, the rooms can be found be clicking chat, group chat rooms.
