Why are some of the badges gray and some orange/yellow on my profile? What does that mean?

Just different kinds of badges, some are auto-awarded when we complete a step like join a community or complete a certain number of chats with members etc. Then there's badges for completing training guides, or for different leadership roles here.
I think the color and icon next to the badge are just indicative of the kind of badge they maybe.
