What is meant by "anonymized data"?
In the settings, enabled by default, is this:
"I want to improve mental health outcomes by donating my anonymized data"
What does this entail? Do you sell our chat logs?

Some information is shared under commercial arrangements, but we don't get told exactly what those arrangements are or what information is involved. At the time of writing, for example, my privacy software tells me it is blocking five possible trackers in this page, and the page itself contains my real e-mail address and age, which 7 Cups put there. When you read this, the page will contain your real e-mail address and age.
Other commercial arrangements may be in place to share information in ways that we cannot see.
On the other hand, I'm not aware that any of this has ever led to bad things happening. So it's probably all OK.

IMO it should be opt-in rather than opt-out.
