good question as something I've wondered also :o I think there's a teen only community too but other than that since the topics overlap maybe that's why they are open to everyone?

forums might be comparatively easier to moderate than chatrooms or PMs , as anyone can see and people are usually on their best behaviour following guidelines here unless they are unaware or deliberately really wanna get removed or here for everything else 7 cups isnt for smh and anyone can flag inappropriate or unsupportive content here .... so maybe safer and more comfortable for teens!

i hope the forums stay tho because I like talking to some teens in forums 😄
