Have you ever been in a chat and suddenly the flow of the chat just stops or slowly gets longer and longer between messages?

This can be frustrating and confusing for members and listeners alike.

Here is a quick tip, if you need to step away from a chat to use the restroom, make/eat a meal or to do something else that is going to be more than a couple of minutes, just let the member or listener know so they don't think that you have abandoned the chat.

You might even ask if you can chat at another time if that works better, but it is always nice to let each other know when there will be a period of time without a response❤️

Yessss!

I'm confused at the number of listeners who pick up a chat before leaving to make lunch. 30 minutes sure. Even 15 as long as the listener isn't the type to take 4 or 5 minutes between responses.

Picking up a chat isn't like quickly checking emails before going for lunch.

@AffyAvo

Thank you for your response. I completely agree! And I have had the same encounters with members who will stop responding in the middle of an ongoing conversation here and then message me the next day and say...."sorry, I had to go...." 😐

A little consideration for each other goes a long way
