I’m scared my son may be a sociopath
My son is 13. I’m divorced but have been married for 8 years. I have primary custody. Our son has a good life at both homes.
My son hurt our family dog when we weren’t home. He lied to us about the incident.
I got sick and my son started spending more time at his dads.
My ex husband said our son masterbated when they were on a camping trip. My son masterbated with his two little sisters, dad, and step mom sleeping right next to him. He let his semen just go all over him and dry inside his sleeping bag.
My son has always showed signs he only cares about himself.
During the time he’s been with his dad, he hasn’t called to see how I’m doing.
I spoke with his dad and step mom and they said our son is happy and seems like nothing ever happened. They tell him to call me and he will text but it’s robotic sounding. They tell him to call me and he says he will later but never does.
My concern is:
-When he lived with me more, he hurt our family dog.
-He lies very easily.
-He adapts to any situation and makes whoever is in front of him feel special.
-He lacks empathy.
-He is addicted to porn.
-He doesn’t care to make friends.
-He comes off very arrogant.
-He said he wanted to shoot his dad for no reason.

All good reasons to be concerned ..... It is a hard item to deal with but as it sounds like you have a good relationship with your ex his father perhaps as a extended family you should see him gets help
Any update? Definitely a complete evaluation particularly for personality disorders such as Sociopathy or Psychopathy (both are components of Antisocial Personality Disorder) and perhaps a MRI is needed in addition to anything else a mental health professional says may be needed because yes, red flags.
Traits of a sociopath

Both of these character types are portrayed in individuals who meet the criteria for antisocial personality disorder.

Children and teenagers may exhibit warming signs of certain behaviors leading to the development of psychopathic or sociopathic tendencies.
