Calling all Welcome Committee Teams! Help needed in the Welcome Lounge Room
Hi everyone!!
As some of you may already know, my schedule has shifted recently and I have fewer online hours than before. If you missed the announcement or want to see the details regarding my availability and where to get support, you can read my full update post here: An update on my schedule and getting the support you need (June 2026).
Because I don't have as much time right now, I am looking for some extra support to make sure our newcomers are looked after. If anyone on the Welcome Committee teams would be open to helping keep the Welcome Lounge covered and greeting new members as they arrive, it would be immensely appreciated!

How we will coordinate: To make things easy and organized, I have already developed a streamlined check-in spreadsheet system for us. This will break down exactly how we can tag-team different tasks, such as live room greeting coverage, hosting scheduled Welcome Sessions, and sending outreach PMs to any newcomers who dropped by while the room was empty. (There are cheers and monthly shoutouts in it for you!)
If you are available to step in and help cover this space, please reply directly in this thread! I will reach out to everyone who volunteers with the spreadsheet.
