We’re excited to share a new space just for you - the Welcome Lounge group chat, open to all newbies (first 30 days on the site)!
The Welcome Lounge is here to help you settle in, find support, and connect with others who are also starting their journey on 7 Cups. It’s a warm and friendly place where you can:
- Ask questions about how 7 Cups works
- Get guidance on features you might find helpful
- Share your first experiences and connect with other newcomers
- Receive support and encouragement as you take your first steps here
Whether you’re here to listen, to be heard, or just to explore, the Welcome Lounge is your starting point.
The group chat will be available 24/7 and can only be accessed by those with the newbie badge, alongside admins and other listeners who volunteer their time to support newbies (the Welcome Team)

Hey there, this is maybe my second week. I have had one chat so far from general request. I asked for feedback and the person I spoke to said that I tried. Which I did, I tried really hard to be respectful and listen/ read the messages. But not sure what was expected of me. The person did ask me to hold them, when I said I was only there to listen they were not interested in what I would say.
