Discussion Question: Do you consider yourself worthy of love and admiration?
It depends, but it's mostly no, since I'm a failure and don't commit to whatever I promise to do most of the time, even if those promises are to my husband, and even myself.
no, not worthy at all. i just want God's love humans are unreliable and their love is conditional including family members' i want to leave this life love is painful i hate it i don't want it
I want to think of myself as worthy, but lately I have been going through a situation that makes me think otherwise. I feel heartbroken and stupid.
@dearhomebody23
Yep. Same here.
I am sorry to hear that @Mirea! I understand. It just sucks because know I know better and capable of feeling worthy of myself.
I alienate myself from people because I don't think I benefit them with my company. I'm working on my self esteem and confidence so I can feel worthy to myself and others.
no
Sometimes. Mostly yes but occasionally I put myself down.
I am indeed. If being a woman isn't enough, I should be admired for raising two children, having a career, being proactive, kind, generous, helpful, humanitarian, skilled...and a grandma!
I'm slowly starting to learn that it's okay to want these things. I say to myself I want them in the form of "yes I matter." And I'm learning to take compliments by simply saying "thank you" instead of brushing them off or saying something self-deprecating instead.
@Laura Not necessarily, no. I could never find it either way, when it comes to love or a social life in general, I'm in such an obscure situation, that had no ways out, it seems. I feel unlovable and incapable of truely feeling love...
Yes and no. When Im in a good mood, I believe im worthy of love and admiration, and have compassion for all living things. When Im in a good mood, Im at my best. When Im sad or angry, I start to believe that I don't deserve anything good, and that I dont deserve to even have a life
