I feel most peaceful when I've just enjoyed a pleasurable time alone with my partner and we get to snuggle, relaxed and comfortable together, with no external demands or pressures needing attending to. Being able to feel trust again after so much trauma means so much to me. Feeling a deep sense of connection to my loved one, and knowing I am deeply loved and cared for in return, combined with the space to just relax and bask in those good feelings, makes for the most peaceful I've felt in recent memory.
