One irrational fear that I have is.....
failing according to someone else's expectations
That the humiliation and the anxiety and everything will take a toll on me!!
And I will fail in class or would fail tio score 60% in class whereas others will make it upto 90%
@rosewithtears18 If you want to succeed, you'll have to forget fearing failure.
Success can only come to you if you believe in yourself.
There's a quote I have always loved and reminded myself of whenever I have exam anxiety. It goes like this- "In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure."
My strangest fear is choking, more so other people choking.
That I will never be happy.
that my brother will commit suicide
That I will never find anything that will make me happy
@NinjaGnome00 I'm sure you still have too many things to be happy about. You just fail to see them. Happiness is within oneself. Maybe you just need to learn to be contended with yourself and your life. Set some goals in your life and keep yourself busy in achieving them.
I hope you find out soon where your true happiness lies.
That I can't really be myself. I'm not even sure who I really am. I usually end up conforming to someone else's needs. ( It's good sometimes. I can sorta be on someone's level)
Afraid that I will be on the outside looking in for the rest of my life. And I
I hope my fears are irrational.
I wrote that one of my fears is that the fear I am feeling from feeling threatened by people in my community is irrational because I don't want to accuse anyone of anything that they have not or are not doing. I feel like I care about others more than others care about me. I read some other posts that make me think how courages and brave of you to share what you feel your irrational fears are. Thank you.
