One thing I have never told anyone is....[finish this sentence}
Just... blurt it out! Don't be nervous! Make your secrets not so secret....
I still haven't forgiven myself for trying to steal my best friend's trading cards in 5th grade (6 years ago). The same goes for most of my mistakes in judgement or logic that I can't let go of even if everyone else has.
I am learning black magic lol and I hope I get back my love :P
that im sorry for ruining their life
Why I used to cut myself...
@Klovebug2112
You said used to. I hope that means you don't anymore? If you stopped, I am so proud of you. It takes a lot of courage and determination to quit, along with a lot of support. I hope you have a good support system no matter what.
If you are still cutting, I'm still proud of you. Self harming is a coping skill - a destructive one - but it's how some of us learned to survive. And the fact of the matter is, you're still alive. However you have been managing to do that, I'm glad it's working and you're here. I'm proud of you for making it.
I really do hope you've stopped though because you are worth so much. You do not deserve to hurt yourself. It might feel like it helps, and temporarily it might, but it doesn't for long and it just makes everything worse. So please stay strong, be safe, and try practicing self-care. You're absolutely worth it.
@unsinkablespirit312 thanks I try not to anymore. But to awnser your question about support system, no i dont have one. But I'm ok on my own. I got this. ☺
@Klovebug2112
Relapses are a normal part of recovery. I self harmed for 8 years and I'll be in recovery from it for 4 years in October. I've slipped up a few times, but not every slip is a fall, at least it doesn't have to. I'm sure you know what I mean. :)
I'm sorry you don't have a support system. It seems like you have the strength, commitment, and determination to do it on your own (which is awesome!), but you totally shouldn't have to. If your family isn't supportive, maybe a friend would be? Or a therapist? I know my therapists have been a lifesaver.
Anyway, just know I'm rooting for you! And I'm incredibly proud of all the progress you've already made on your own; it's amazing! You are amazing!
I count calories
That I self harm and sometimes question my existence 😊
That he forced me to have sex while I nursed my newborn
One thing I have never told anyone is how bad it hurts to be in my head.
@Sillygyrl
Me, too. It hurts to live in my head. Every day. Every night. I don't know what it's like in your head, but mine is not a great place to be. I'm sure yours isn't either. I'm really sorry about that. I don't know what I could say to make it better, but I will tell you that it won't always be bad. If there is one thing in the world that is constant, it's change. Everything changes eventually, if given enough time. I know that it seems impossible to wait it out while you're in the middle of the rainstorm, feeling like you're drowning in your own thoughts, but I promise you that they will pass. They will pass and you will feel better.
Also, on your next post it said that you scratched your skin until it's raw because you were scared to cut... I am begging you to please, please get help right away. What you're doing now is still a form of self harm. Please talk to someone you trust. Having a therapist would be great. I really don't want you to make that first cut. I did and I went into a downward spiral of 8 years of self harm. It's not worth it and it doesn't help. You deserve to live and be happy and never hurt yourself again. Please be kind to yourself. You are worth it.
One thing I have never told anyone is that I scratch skin till its raw cause I'm to scared to cut.
