One thing I have never told anyone is....[finish this sentence}
Just... blurt it out! Don't be nervous! Make your secrets not so secret....
Sometimes, I feel like everything is wrong. I mentioned to my ex once that I was suicidal after our break up. But I think he thought is was being dramatic. I just feel like no matter how hard I try, that life will never get better and I will never find a place to fit in. One thing I've never told anyone is that more often than not, I want to give up.
How I actually feel inside and how broken and lost I am. I've never told anyone about my depression and anxiety and anger issues and how messed up I am. I haven't ever told anyone about my self harm and how badly I want to end my life
1. I've tried to kill myself once this year.
2. I still think about it daily
3. I'm not as strong as everybody thinks i am
4. If it wasn't for a few people in my life right now i wouldn't be here
That he was the might at the end of the tunnel that kept me from committing suicide and now that he is gone, I am really trying to be strong and not get back to that place again but I'm so lonely without him...
One thing I have never told anyone is that I think I might have borderline personality disorder.
I HATE MY HAIR AND I REGRET CUTTING IT OFF.
i have not truly forgiven my self or most of others,@Laura

I made this video on self-forgiveness last year. It's short - about 3 minutes. Maybe it can help ?
@Laura
About the video,#question... is that to say, i am to embrace, be accountable & accept the "person" was when i did those "things" despite the fact that those things were not okay, & is in fact what i strive not to be.
i believe in finding, embracing and releasing as a healing method. i believe with enough focused intent (awareness/energy) we can overcome our conditioning; reconditioning things, like, self confidence, faith, hope, practicing love towards self and others, discipline, ect..
but when it comes to forgivness. i try to accept these things i have done, or others have done; and just cant seem to be okay with it.
i have somewhat conqured ...or rather. i have started to self heal.
i am able to function, outside of my severe and at times uncontrolable emotions.
but forgivness i have not come to terms with. i empathize and sympathize, at times justify alll and every wrong doing. but despite this i am able to find no way mentally, emotionally, or spiritually, not even physically...to overcome the burden of "forgiving myself and others enough to not create the ever-ending ripple effects of the law of attraction.(ect.)
does this make sense
P.S im new on here, dont know if i should have written a personal message, comment on links site....but
i loved the video
& Thank you

Welcome to the community! and you did it right. Thanks for sharing and being with us. Forgiving yourself is the ultimate act of self-love. it takes time and patience. But with dedicaiton, you can get there. Trust yourself a little.
Sending you a big hug!

Got it
Ty.
Even after 6 years of not self harming myself, I struggle EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Everyday I pick up the blade and have to force myself not to cut.
@understandingJar2636 6 years is an amazing accomplishment, I, m only 14 days clean but reading this shows me that I can on and self harm, that's over half a decade of self love. Your awesome!!!!
one thing ive never told anyone is how lonely i feel every second of the day. im sociable but i feel like no one understands me, and everyone has their own friends and problems to care about. im not worth anyone's caring.
@awkward me too!
I don't usually post to any of the threads that show up in my notifications, but two of them stood out to me today.
He was manipulative. I didn't see it until after I left for other reasons, but he used his "emotions" to get what he wanted out of me. I fell for it every. single. day. and I still regret allowing him to do what he did.. and somehow getting me to do the same. We ended it about four? months ago, don't really remember much, but it still works its way into my thoughts. I always worry if what was done will affect anything in the future and that thought scares me, but now that this is out in the open.. I'm realizing the past is the past and I can't change that. He manipulated me into doing things that I never would have even CONSIDERED and I've hated myself so much for it for way too long. I have to let it go, leave it in the past, and move forward. This is my "bad example" the type of relationship I don't want to repeat. I know the warning signs now.
