One thing I love about myself is......

My ability to see good in people, even when they've wronged me to a degree of lack of friendship and trust, I can still see the good in people, and I rarely see the bad.

My practice of the Golden Rule: I try to treat people as I would like to be treated.

I smile at strangers, wishing them a good morning; I stop and pet peopl's dogs (after asking to do so), asking them it's name, breed, age, etc.; and I frequently offer passing compliments, especially if they look shy or like they could use it - but I only say things I mean. I once told a shy-looking, heavyset twentysomething girl who had thick wavy brown hair halfway down her back, "I love your hair!" (BTW, I am a heavyset woman in her late forties.) She nearly came to a dead stop, she was so startled, but then smiled haltingly - though she seemed genuinely pleased - and said thanks. I hope I made her day; her reaction made mine!

Arrogant as this may sound, my looks. I spent a long time swapping from hating my body and then hating my face and then back again. It's a nice change to think I don't look too bad. :) That and that I always keep trying to make things better.
