That you never really cared about me. I was just a cushion to soften the blow from your failed relationships. Every day we have been apart now I have grown stronger. So run and stay away, don't come back and don't contact me ever again.

How the hell I'm supposed to tell my dad that I'm not faking what's going on in my head.

@MelHusky

I believe there is some resources on that on this website and otherwise maybe some conversations on here or forum posts might help to proof your point. If this was all just you, then how come we have build an entire community on here of people who struggle with exactly the same, huh?

So if you're comfortable, tell your father about 7cups, how you're not the only one, and how important it is that you feel supported and find help.

I believe in you, good luck heart

@MelHusky. Stay with it! As a dad the one thing I know is that sometimes you need to hear it a 100 times and see it once to get it. No father wants pain for their children, dont give up and keep communicating your feelings to him. I am sorry you are going thru this..

..that you never really cared. As you said, you helped me with my anxiety because you saw youself in me at that time. In a way, you felt as if you were helping yourself. You spent time with me bacause you were bored. Lonely. But I fell for you because you seemed to be the only one who understood and you were kind and you were there!

And now I'm slowly starting to hate myself for that..

I keep trying to move forward, get things done and reach my goals in life, but at the moment it's just insanely hard. I feel physically and emotionally drained and very lonely. The past seven months I was in a relationship and literally gave it my all, but he was no good for me. He was all I've ever wanted, but at the same time never treated me right. Now I ended up with nothing but a broken heart and hopelessness. In the past I've been such a happy, motivated person. I didn't need anyone to just enjoy the day and embrace the small things. But I somehow lost that ability somewhere.

@SmurfyHeart

You didn't loose it sweety, you're just a littlee lost right now. And that's okay. It's like being close to fluent in a language, and then not speaking it for years. You're bound to forget about it. But it's still somewhere in that big brain of yours, waiting for you to access it again. And it'll take time, but it is there. So start out small. When you learn a language, you don't start with explaining the Theory of Relativity either, you start with 'hello' and 'how are you'. So start out with small, simple tasks. Taking care of yourself, then your environment, and get the little things done. And don't forget, every small thing you do is worth a lot! And a big high five!

I believe that you can do it. You did a very amazing thing after all. You got out of a relationship that wasn't good for you. That's so brave! heart

@Idontgetrelief, this is hard. I guess it all boils down to how much you are willing to give in the relationship. Acceptance is one key. But dealing with a depressed loved on everyday is a different story. Take it day by day.
