What would you say to someone who has lost all hope or joy?
@trueconfidant123
Nothing lasts forever; it's hard to admit, but that's the truth. Our happy memories, hope, joy? They all eventually fade away as we live on. But you know the funny thing? Sadness, emptiness, hopelessness, those things don't last forever as well. Our life just runs in circles full of hills and downhills; we climb up the high, tall hill. We sweat, and we suffer, we want to give up sometimes because of how high up it is. But everything has an end; everything has a limit. When we go down the hill? That's a completley different story, isn't it? You can feel the breeze through the air; it takes less energy to just straight up, walk down, or slide down that hill now. You see what I mean? Things may be rough at first, but it'll eventually ease down. It's okay to give up; it's okay to lose your hope. But we can always start again; we can always climb up again. you can lose hope, joy, or happiness, but you can also gain it back. It all depends on you because I'm not the one climbing that hill, am I? You are, no one else, you determine what shapes your future. So don't give up, don't lose that spark in you, because I know you'll eventually overcome it and so will I.
Is what I probably would say.

our life is like a game. While playing do you see the main character has to go through tons of struggles to reach each new level? And in every level up he grows stronger, wiser and more experienced and finally he reaches the goal?. Thats us in our life. Our life also has different levels. And each level comes with new hope and new challenges as well. When we are meant for something big or have a life purpose, we have to be capable to meet that purpose, for which god makes us go through struggles and challenges which shapes us into that version of ourselves who is capable to meet that purpose. Today you might feel its over, nothing can go worse that this, this is the exact same moment when you rise from it and work through your highest level. Trust me every person in this world who made it big has to go through *** before they could create a heaven for themselves. And YOU ARE IN THAT PROCESS. TRUST ME
I'd probably say.. that's life my buddy..it's not always sunny there are times when it's gonna rain ..or maybe storms and floods..but after that? After all of it is over..the sun is back..similarly ..to value True happiness life puts some phases of sorrow so don't give up..you got this.
Wow this question is very deep and I like it. It sounds like depression.
I would say something like: “Hey that sounds serious! Nothing else matters anymore. I would invite youu to play board games or do art and crafts together. It’s something relaxing and allows one to focus and explore on something fun”
@trueconfidant123 Maybe right now, it’s hard to see past the fog, and that’s okay. You don’t need to have everything figured out. Just breathe. Take it one day one hour at a time. And if joy feels too far away, maybe start smaller. Find a moment of peace. A moment of distraction. Something that feels a little less heavy.
And don’t do it alone. You’re not meant to carry everything by yourself. Talk to someone someone who really listens. And if you can’t find the words, that’s okay too. Just don’t disappear into the pain. You matter more than you realize, even when it doesn’t feel like it

Even when a candle burns out and its flame fades, there may still be a lingering ember deep within. And if there isn’t, if all that remains is the silent, cooling wax, it still doesn’t mean the end.
Because wax remembers warmth. It remembers what it was like to burn, to shine, to give light. And even though it now seems still and lost, within it lies the possibility of a new shape, a new beginning. All it takes is a little patience, perhaps the touch of someone who knows how to soften it, reshape it, and breathe new life into it.
And then, one day, it will ignite again. Maybe not in the same way as before, maybe differently—but it will burn. Because even when light disappears for a while, it never truly vanishes.
