I would find love and happiness and community by 25.
I'm a!most 32 and am single, lost my old high school friends but 1. I have just lost my guy best friend who I am in love with because he freaked out,started sleeping with this other girl he knew and a week later professed his love for her and now I can't trust him because i seriously believe that he is going through some kind of psychological break.

@UnwantedChick thank you. Have have since found someone who adores me and who is mature and ready for an adult relationship. I still miss the other guy sometimes but I know we can't be in each other's lives and he can't truly be trusted even as a friend anymore.
When I was little I believed that the world - my world- was a safe place and nothing bad would happen (to me). Since then bad things have happened to others ( and me) and they still do - but I am always looking for ways to make bad things better. I love that 7 cups is here to give us a safe place to try to do that for each other.
...that if you swallowed watermelon seeds, a watermelon would grow inside your belly... and that's where big bellies came from 😆😳😆😆

@dynamicMelon1295 Hahah I used to believe this too. Though slightly different. My mother used to say as a deterrent, "If you swallow those watermelon seeds, you'll grow a watermelon tree in your belly. You don't want that." Messed up! Haha.
People would be as loyal and forgiving to me as I was to them. That I would never be betrayed by someone I trusted if I never betrayed them.

When I was little, I believed that I would always have many friends and life would be fun.
Now ive realized that it is difficult to have friends and even more difficult find fun.
When I was a kid I thought that in high school I would have many friends and a lovely person next to me. Nothing happened.
I would have found genuine mature people who wanted me in their life as much as I wanted them in mind. People who understood and accepted me like I am to understand and except others.
That the world was fair.

That the world around me was as bratty as I was and I could be a brat forever.
That there was an aquatic dinosaur living in the fountain at a mall near where I lived that could be satisfied only by eating coins. Don't ask me where I came up with that one... Lol!
