When I was little I thought that water flowed because of electrical power. I was really confused during a power outage, that the sinks and bathtub still worked!
When I was young, I believed that dogs are awesome. I still do. 
When I was little I believed... that my toys would come to life at night and have mini parties without me, because whenever I woke up they were no longer sat on my bed and my teddies were scattered everywhere. Turns out it was the cat.

When I was younger I believed shop mannequins were people who had been caught shop lifting.
When I was little I believed I would never change, and stay who I had been forever. I don't think I could've been so far from the truth. When I was little, I believed that I could do anything.
When I was little, I believed that I was meant to save lives. My mom said, after her attempts to have children, that God brought me to her through an angel, in a dream, and she told me that I was supposed to do good, in this world. It made me think that I was invincible, like the superheroes I watched on TV. Finding out that I was just a helpless human like everybody else was devastating for years, but I now know that there is more than one way to help and save others without superpowers. I am glad I know that now.
