Could this be Rx related?

Hello,

A little over a month ago I was tapered off of Prozac for anxiety that started after three death of my Grandmother 2013 and had swapped out my birth control pill for a copper IUD on October 1st. Both of these medications I have been taking for years. Everything was fine until the last few days. I'm feeling anxious, achy, and tired. Sometimes I feel on the verge of a panic attack so I try to breathe it out. Yesterday I started a regular exercise routine on my treadmill.

Can anyone tell me if this a result of ending these medications and if there is something else I should be doing? I'm just hoping this is temporary.

Thanks for the help,

@popcornKISSES1518 I am not an expert, and there are no experts here at 7 Cups who can give you medical advice, unfortunately. I Googled Prozac taper and found advice saying that some people can take months to taper off Prozac, so I wonder if it is possible you came off it too fast, having been on it for so many years. On the other hand, if you've been OK for a month it maybe doesn't seem too likely.

Working out the underlying cause of anxiety and panic attacks, and figuring out how to deal with the cause instead of just masking the symptoms, are the kinds of things that good therapists are used to doing. I wonder if it possible getting a therapist's assessment would be useful.

So many factors that happened in the past 3 months it's hard to tell if there is a cause to my anxiety or if it's just coming back.
