The Day I turned 20, I felt like the 20's was going to be a roller coaster and so far it has. I have to say though, I have learned a lot of life lessons.

Sounds like you are having a lot of things to do in this journey of becoming more independent. That's all 20s are about...

Next year I am turning 25 and I can say that this half of my 20s have been making me a very wise person. I was such a silly, idealistic kid before turning 24.

At 20 I decided I want to start discovering relationships. I almost lost myself in the process...

At 21 I decided I want to go to 500 miles away from my hometown to start my masters. I ended up coming back as their world was so different than mine - even in the same country, haha.

At 23 I managed to get my first serious job and stick with it. It was an important moment as I started working in a very different kind of job than I have dreamt of. Tough I learnt so much there!

At 24 I decided I want to work with people online and that got me get closer to my dreams. Also, I decided I do not want to give up on myself just for the sake of having friends, lover or temporary fun.

Looking back now I can see I am getting closer to where I want to be. It's been a hard journey till far.

I'm 23, so I haven't seen much of my 20's yet, but here are a few memorable birthday moments:

-When I stayed up til midnight to live out the remaining minutes of my teens, I cried like a baby when the clock struck 12:00 and I was officially 20 years old. I felt like my life was over lol!

-Close to midnight my sister, my cousin, and myself drove out of town to a Waffle House to bring in my 22nd birthday and jammed to Taylor Swift "22" on repeat all the way home.

-When I turned 23 my best friend and our other friend were in a baseketball gym. At midnight they cut all of the lights off and turned on the disco lights and I shot a half court shot at midnight.

So far, 20's have been great!

Woah those are some pretty great moments! Loved how you decided to share the birthdays instead of any other moments from your 20s.

I must say I can relate to your moment turning 20. I remember saying I'm only 19 until the last minute before the hour I was born at, which is 12:30 PM.

I got my first real job at 20, and two years later made it to a manager position. It's been great, but also extremely difficult and trying, and I've learned so so much about myself and other people in the process that make me happy for both the good and the bad. Every day is a lesson.

Hello!

I am 23!! So far in my 20's I graduated from university, I landed my first career job, and had two failed "serious" relationships.. Overall I am pretty proud of my fails and my achievements.
